Welcome to Semilong Community Exchange!
Since 2018, we’ve been quietly building a network of kindness from our home in Northampton. What started as a simple idea — neighbours helping neighbours — has grown into something much bigger. Now, as we step into a new chapter, we’re opening our doors to the wider community.
We believe everyone deserves a warm space, a listening ear, and the chance to give and receive without judgement.
What We Offer
Whether you’re popping in for a cuppa or looking for something useful, the Semilong Community Exchange is here for you.
- Donation Exchange – Take what you need, give what you can. Clothes, toys, books, and useful bits for everyday life.
- Hot Drinks & Refreshments – Free tea, coffee, biscuits, and a friendly welcome.
- Conversation & Support – A place to talk, ask for help, or just be with others.
- No Pressure, No Payment, No Questions – Everyone is welcome.
As we grow, we’ll be adding more support and activities.

Life can be tough — but community can make it easier. The Exchange exists to lighten the load, share the warmth, and remind us all that nobody should have to struggle alone.

Mondays and Thursday 10am-2pm
Leicester Street Community Rooms, NN1 3RS 10-2 and Semilong Community Centre, Norfolk Terrace, NN2 6HS 1-3pm. Every second week on a Friday – check our Calender to see which week we’re on.
We will be hosting regular pop-ups and donation days – everyone is welcome – follow us on facebook for updates!
