Our Impact

We started tracking detailed impact data in 2023. We measure atendance, repeat visits, referrals and outcomes, and seasonal needs.

Attendance & Reach

We syupport around 20-50 people per session, depending on location and season.

Repeat Visitors

Approximately 70% of visitors return weekly, reflecting trusted, consistent support.

Referrals & partnerships

We refer to food banks, fuel/data banks, community law, carers, and council services. We don’t operate our own food bank.

Seasonal Needs

In winter, demand rises for hot meals, warm spaces, and help with fuel/food. We adapt sessions and signposting accordingly.

Stories & Case Studies

Short, anonymised stories (with consent) show how people move from crisis to stability.

David

Before discovering the community hub, David describes his life as “just sitting indoors behind four walls… very lonely.” His turning point came when a volunteer, Vicky, phoned to invite him in for a coffee. That simple call opened the door to friendship, support, and a sense of belonging that he hadn’t had for years. For nearly three years now, David has come every week, finding not only company but also practical help — from sorting out housing issues to getting occupational therapy. He says that without the hub, he simply wouldn’t have sought support anywhere else.
For David, the hub is much more than a place to drop in. It is where people notice if you’re missing, check that you’re okay, and make sure no one is left behind. After serious health struggles, including pneumonia and a blood clot, the hub was a constant source of connection and care. “I can’t thank you all enough,” David says, adding that if the hubs closed, he and many others would be “gutted.” What started as one invitation to coffee has grown into a vital part of his life — turning isolation into community, and loneliness into laughter.
